FORUM IN BUSINESS
What is Forum in business?
Forum in business is a platform for employees to openly discuss and manage personal and professional issues within a confidential environment, through a structured process, together with fellow employees. Forum provides a safe space for employees and managers to work through their own issues, develop and practice empathy and understanding towards others, refine conflict management skills, improve their interpersonal and management skills and much more.

Why do we use Forum in business?
Forum in business helps to create fast integration within the organization, break silos, allow members to bring their heart into business and most importantly, helps to develop authentic leadership. Furthermore, it improves problem solving and accountability around implementation and execution. All this is done by using specialized tools aimed at improving team building, conflict resolution, increasing awareness and taking advantage of management styles, providing effective feedback and more.
What is the Forum in business process?
The Forum process takes participants through several stages during each meeting and retreat, bound together by the highest level of confidentiality, allowing participants to share their issues and concerns in a safe space to the group. Participants learn how to identify core issues and their underlying cause, openly express what concerns them around this issue, provide one-on-one coaching to other group members (which they will be trained to provide), and to practice accountability through creating detailed action plans and being followed up on. A trained moderator is present throughout the session to guide participants and facilitate the smooth-running of the process.
What makes Forum in business successful?
Forum is a successful process when it receives support from within the structures of the company, when meetings are run according to the correct procedure as facilitated by a trained moderator, when meetings are regular, and with the appropriate materials and facilitation tools (to be provided).
How to implement Forum in business?
Through a structured and guided implementation program we can assist with launching and supporting the forum structure within your company, scheduling regular moderators meetings, developing materials and facilitation tools, providing training at various levels (individual coaching for moderators and vice-moderators, conflict resolution training and tools, feedback training), helping to create a practice of monitoring and reporting results and measuring ROIs, providing online support for questions and challenges, conducting forum survey analysis and plan of action for improvement, and providing support in the creation of Forum rules and operational guidebook.
Testimonials:
-
"As leaders, we are all feeling mounting performance pressure in a world in continuous change and uncertainty. Through working with Amir and the Forum process, I have experienced a deeper level of connection, communication, and support from my partner colleagues. The work is not just about carving out time to meet with my partners, but learning new ways to be present with each other, shifting into a new level of “being” that creates authentic connection. The “theater of work” disappears and we come together as human beings with a mission to make a positive impact in the world…together."-Partner at Deloitte
